Just an old house with the roof falling in
standing at the edge of the field
Watching the crops grow as it's always done before
Nobody lives here anymore.

Wie immer wächst Korn, es wuchert sehr,
niemand lebt hier mehr.

I'm a long way from home and I miss that love of mine
Broken windows, empty doors
Nobody lives here anymore.
Und die Sonne sinkt im Lautertal
Ich bin sehr weit weg, doch ich lebte hier mal
Zerbrochen die Scheiben, die Türen sind leer
Keiner erinnert sich mehr.
Old memories come whistling like the wind
through the walls and the cracked window panes
And the grass is growing high around the kitchen door
Nobody lives here anymore.
And the sun's going down...
Die Erinnerung kommt mit dem heißen Wind
Durch die Mauern und den morschen Fenstersims
Das Gras wuchert hoch an der Küchentür
Niemand lebt hier mehr.
Und die Sonne sinkt.....

Now that old sun steals across a dusty floor

Da waren mal Kinder, paar Knechte und dann
ne schwer schuftende Frau und ein todmüder Mann.
Jetzt stiehlt sich die Sonne über den Flur, staubig und leer
Niemand lebt hier mehr.
